The Cottage is a two-bedroom unit and is subject to booking both bedrooms for a minimum of 2 guests. Single Supplement Charges apply if 2 guests occupy the Cottage.

For bookings for 3 or 4 guests in the Cottage, normal sharing rates apply.

• RD: Lusaka – Baines’ River Camp one way: USD 440.00, 1 – 4 pax, 4 – 5 hr drive*
• RD: Lusaka – Gwabi one way: USD 160.00, PP, min. 2 pax, 2 hr drive*
• BOAT: Gwabi – Baines one way: USD 270.00, 1 – 4 pax, 2 hr cruise
• RD: Baines’ – Jeki one way: USD 200.00, PP, min. 2 pax, 2.5 hr drive*

*NOTE: The timing of the drive varies across seasons

• No Single Supplement for the first 2 rooms in a booking thereafter 50% extra charged on additional single occupancy rooms.
• Children from 6-12 get a 30% discount off the adult rate
• No booking will be held provisionally without it being requested in writing and thereafter, it shall be held for 14 days before being automatically released.
• All extras incurred in camp are to be settled before departure through our credit card system which will include a surcharge of 5%.
• Check in time is 13h00 and check out time is 10h00.
• Early check-in and/or late check-out (USD 150 pp per event. Charges cover general camp facilities, activities and catering. Charges do not guarantee the use
  of guest accommodation)
• The activities or items that are included in the rates sheets; any activities or items that are specifically excluded, or those that are not specifically included in
  the rates sheet are deemed to be excluded from the booking.
• The cost of the booking shall be the cost quoted on the pro forma invoice; however, Baines’ River Camp reserves the right to alter the cost of the trip in the
  event of unforeseen fluctuations in currency, fuel, or the price of the suppliers.
• The Customer is required to make a part-payment of 25% of the quoted travel package in order to confirm a booking. The balance of the cost of the travel
  package is due 60 days before the arrival date. Failure to pay the balance timeously could result in the Customer losing their booking.
• Any cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation fees will be charged as follows:
  Any cancellation made between Confirmation and 90 days before arrival will incur a USD100.00 admin fee.
  Cancellation 90 – 31 Days before arrival: 25% of total
  Cancellation 30 – 0 Days before arrival: 100% of total
• It is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure that all passports, VISA’s, applicable birth certificates or affidavits and medical requirements are in order
  prior to the arrival date.
• Baines’ River Camp does not provide travel insurance policies and accordingly, Baines’ River Camp insists that the Customer subscribes to appropriate travel
  insurance prior to the arrival date.
• Any activity engaged in by the Customer while on the journey, whether included or excluded in the itinerary, is entirely at the Customer’s own risk.
• Where the contracting party enters into this agreement on behalf of others in the Travel Group, including minor children he/she hereby warrants his/her
  authority to conclude this agreement on behalf of the others and/or minor children.
• The Customer hereby indemnifies and holds Baines’ River Camp harmless against any claim for any loss of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising, and
  not limited to death, injury, illness or other related medical costs that may be suffered or incurred by the Customer; nor is Baines’ River Camp liable for any
  theft, loss or damage to property, any delay, or any claim whatsoever arising from any incident while on the trip, through or with Baines’ River Camp, or
  through the use of Baines’ River Camp suppliers, the supplier’s representative’s, transport, accommodation, sightseeing, or any other activity whatsoever.
• The Customer hereby acknowledges that they have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions of this booking when payment of the
  part-payment is made.
• This constitutes the sole record of the agreement concluded between the parties and no representations, warranties or statements made by us or our behalf not recorded herein shall form part of this agreement.
