Day 1 – 4​

Chundukwa River Lodge, Livingstone

Livingstone is the adventure capital of Zambia. Visit Victoria Falls, enjoy horse riding at Chundukwa, take in a stunning Zambezi sunset on a river boat cruise, marvel at the views during a helicopter or microlight flight, white water raft, visit the historic Livingstone Island, and explore local art galleries, markets and restaurants. There really is something for everyone!

Day 4 – 9

Baines’ River Camp, Lower Zambezi Valley

Measuring over 5,000 square kilometres of unfenced yet protected habitat, this safari destination has remained free of mass tourism. In the absence of tarred roads, power lines and light pollution, you will experience the authentic African safari on a variety of safari activities that are on offer. Game viewing and birding is offered in open vehicles, on foot and by boat. A gentle canoe safari down one of the beautiful tributaries of the Zambezi is pure magic and for those with a sense of adventure, Tiger fishing provides that little kick in your safari. You will also have the opportunity to visit and engage with the local communities and conservation organisation.

It is renowned for its predator sightings, elephant encounters, and the chance to observe wildlife on foot, by game vehicle, or via boat safari. Angling enthusiasts and novices alike can enjoy trying to catch a Tiger fish, a highlight of the Zambezi experience. Birdwatchers can look forward to spotting special species like Lillian’s Lovebird and Livingstone’s flycatcher. Guests can unwind in the camp’s open lounge areas or by the pool, enjoying service from attentive staff. There are various child-friendly activities, from fishing and baking to arts and crafts. The day concludes beautifully with a family game of Boules by the river, reflecting on the day’s adventures.
