|Feel free to call in on our modern kitchen, which is proudly headed up by Crispin and Titus. Having worked together during various stages in their catering careers, they form an excellent team and, despite the challenges of the Zambezi Valley, they will do their utmost to please your palate with a variety of exquisite meals.
There are no set meal times at Baines. Breakfasts, brunches and lunches are prepared and served to suit your activities and personal preferences. During the evening, or at Dinner, your host will gladly discuss your activities for the next day and coordinate your meals accordingly. The true river and bush enthusiasts do not need to return to the camp for brunch or lunch. Delicious picnic meals and snacks can be prepared and packed for you early in the morning.
Dining is a relaxed affair, enjoyed together with other guests on our verandah-style dining area or under the stars. If you prefer, an intimate dinner for two on your private verandah can be arranged. During pre-dinner drinks, Crispin will present you with a choice of two starters, main courses and desserts. If you feel like something completely different, don’t hesitate to discuss your preferences and we will gladly prepare a suitable dish for you.
